Donald
McLean B.Sc. Pharm President
Donald McLean has been involved in sports from an early
age. He has competed in football, athletics, rowing, tennis,
and sailing. He competed in 1990 and 1993 Central American and
Caribbean Games in Sailing (J24) and 1996 Olympics in Sailing
(Star class). He has also competed in a number of other international
events in Sailing including 1998 and 1999 Star Class World Championships.
Mr. McLean was Chef de Mission for the Cayman Islands Team in
the 2000 Olympic Games and the Secretary General of the Cayman
Islands Olympic Committee from 2001-2005. He is married to Jennifer
Ahearn and they have two children, Thomas and Maggie.

Carson
Ebanks MBE, JP Secretary General
This
is Mr. Ebank's 1st term as Secretary General of the CIOC,
he has served 2 other terms as Vice President of the Committee.Mr.
Ebanks had
the honor of being on the first Cayman Islands Olympic Team
in 1976 competing
in sailing. Some of his other sporting achievements
included participation in the sailing events in the 1984
and 1996 Olympic Games; the 1979 Pan Am Games;
and 1998 World Championships in Dubai. Mr. Ebanks served
as Chef de Mission for the Cayman Islands team at the 1994
Victoria Commonwealth Games and joint Chef de Mission for
the Cayman Islands team in the 1999 Pan American Games in
Winnipeg. He has also served as Bosun, Vice Commodore [sailing]
and the Olympic committee representative for the Cayman Islands
Sailing Club. Mr. Ebanks is also the founding and current
President,Cayman Islands Olympian Association.

Lori
Powell Vice President
Mrs. Powell is the first female elected to the CIOC
executive. She is also Vice President of the Island Games
Association. She has been actively involved with sports on
the island for many yours,including serving for many years
as Vice President of the Cayman Island Swimming Association
and serving as the Olympic Committee representative for swimming.
Mrs. Powell has been assistant team manager for
3 Island Games, Chef de Mission for Commonwealth Games 2006
in Melbourne Australia, and will be the Chef de Mission for
the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing. She is married to Mackie
Powell and they have 3 daughters, Shauna, Jennifer and Jessica
all of which have been very involved with swimming.

Bernie
Bush
Treasurer of the CIOC. He has served as Treasurer for 2 years
in a row as Treasurer. He was the first Caymanian Chef de Mission
for the CAC Games in Mexico and the Pan American Games in Cuba,
was the former President for the C. I. Athletics Association,
was the founder and former President for the C.I. Special Olympics,
and was the former Sports Director designate for the C.I. Government. |
