Commonwealth Youth Games

The Commonwealth Youth Games are a small-scale version of the Commonwealth Games, designed for the youth of the 71 Commonwealth countries. All competitors in the Commonwealth Youth Games will be a minimum of 14 and maximum of 18 in the year of competition (i.e. their 18th birthday is during the calendar year in which the Games is held) and a maximum number of 1000 competitors are invited to participate from every Commonwealth Games Association.

The last edition of the Games were held in Isle of Man in 2011 and the next edition of the Games will be held in Apia, Samoa in 2015.

Cayman first participated in these Games in Pune in 2007 and have yet to obtain a medal.
